Volume of freight transported by rail up 13.8% in January-April

23.1 million tons of freight were transported by rail in Latvia in January-April, 13.8 percent more than in the first four months of 2011, according to the Transport Ministry's data.

Latvian president lauds Transport Ministry's efforts in promoting transit to Afghanistan
